Iglesia Evangelica Luterana Unida Files 1948-1977; 1960-1971.

Box 1 contains general files including constitutions, budgets, and reports. Box 2 contains correspondence arranged chronologically. Most of the correspondence is between the Secretaries for South America (Luther B. Gotwald, 1947-1950; Herbert L. Gilbert, 1950-1954; Earl S. Erb, 1954-1959; Warren C. Johnson, 1959-1961; William E. Cox, 1962-1970; Milton J. Olson, 1971- 1977) and officers of the IELU. Boxes 3 and 4 contain minutes of both the national conventions of the IELU as well as minutes of its Executive Committee. Convention and Executive Committee minutes are filed together and arranged chronologically. Many of the minutes are in Spanish. The majority of the minutes are from the 1960s.
